My First Day at Uni Campus! *FINALLYYY!!* @BMCC, Pune.
First of all, i want to let you know that I am posting this blog 2 days late because I fell sick and could not do the editing.
Back to the point.
Today finally, FINALLY after 1.5 years (like srsly halfway through my undergrad clg years, WHHAATT?! ) I actually went to my college. I had been waiting for this day ever since I entered high school. of course I knew it is not gonna be some superficial SOTY (Bollywood movie directed by Karan Johar) types. But still, I was hopeful and was expecting something unreal :p(Spoiler alert!: Nothing such happened.) All preparations were done, hair? washed! clothes? ironed! Bag? packed! Shoes? Cleaned! All set to embrace that special and unique moment. But, when I woke up the next day, it was raining heavily! No worries, I said to my mom, It will stop after some time. (It did not stoppp Ugh!). And the weather was COLD! I was not gonna take an umbrella and jacket with me but my mom insisted to carry them in the bag at least and so I did and yes it was very much needed, indeed! (Quick tip: Always, follow your mom's advice!)
So, then i rushed to the bus station. My friend Samay(such a kind and sweet guy he is!) had come to pick me up as it was my first time traveling on the bus for a long distance. After an hour at 10:15ish, we reached the college all drenched by the rain but Guess what? Our first lecture which was supposed to be conducted on campus got canceled and was scheduled online so even after being on campus we attended it online :/. It's Okay. I still enjoyed the feel of the actual classroom, board, and classmates after a very long time. The next lecture did happen. Thank God. It was really good. We talked to the teacher about the syllabus and out of syllabus things.
After that, we explored the campus and met teachers, and completed some work. It was awesome. I met people whom I knew from Instagram and WhatsApp groups. Many of my friends could not come because of the weather. But still, it was quite a wonderful and unforgettable experience of my life.
The weather was bad and the covid conditions are still not good in Pune city so we did not go to any crowded places. Hopefully, the conditions get better soon so that my friends and I can explore the amazing places stress-free.
I got back home at around 5pm. It was still raining(It rained all day). My friend and I fell sick because of the weather. But still, we are waiting to get better and go back to clg asap, haha!
P.S. The stairs pics remind me of the poem ' Halfway Down by A.A. Milne' which I will leave it here for you to read ;)
Halfway down the stairs
is a stairwhere i sit.
there isn't any
other stair
quite like
it.
i'm not at the bottom,
i'm not at the top;
so this is the stair
where
I always
stop.
Halfway up the stairs
Isn't up
And it isn't down.
It isn't in the nursery,
It isn't in town.
Run round my head.
It isn't really
Anywhere!
It's somewhere else
Instead!
